k = knit
p = purl
m1 = increase 1 stitch (knit into stitch below next stitch)
ssk = slip one stitch to right needle, knit 1 stitch, pass slipped
stitch over last stitch worked
k2tog = knit 2 sts together
INSTRUCTIONS
with Aurora 8 yarn and
US 7 needles, cast on 29 stitches.
LEFT HAND
-work 10 rows stockinette stitch
-next
RS row:
k8, m1, k to end
-next WS row:
p all sts
-repeat above two rows until you have 35 sts on
the needles
-next
RS row:
k all sts
-next WS row:
p all sts
-next RS row:
k all sts
-next WS row:
p all sts
-next RS row:
k7, ssk, k to end
-next WS row:
p all sts
-repeat above two rows until you have 29 sts on
the needles
-bind off knitwise on WS row

Before
sewing RIGHT one together, sew the LEFT one and place it down like
this. The very left top edge is the increase edge. Fold the
RIGHT one opposite (with the increases on the right)
and sew together.
