A cute little hat for your little kid!
Fits most child sized heads up to age 8
due to the cable and ribbing pattern.

   1 ball Karaoke

w needles:  US 7 double pointed (set of 4)

wgauge: 5.5 sts per 1"

abbreviations:
k = knit
p = purl
k2tog = knit two together
p2tog = purl two together

C4B: slip next 2 sts onto cable needle and hold at back of work, knit next 2 sts from left-hand needle, then knit sts from cable needle.

with Karaoke yarn and US 7 needles, cast on 90 stitches.
divide evenly between three needles.
rounds 1 thru 6: *k2, p2, k4, p2.  repeat from * around
round 7: *k2, p2, CB4, p2.  repeat from * around
rounds 8 thru 13: *k2, p2, k4, p2.  repeat from * around
round 14: *k2, p2, CB4, p2.  repeat from * around
rounds 15 thru 19: *k2, p2, k4, p2.  repeat from * around
round 20: *k2, p2, CB4, p2.  repeat from * around
rounds 21 thru 26: *k2, p2, k4, p2.  repeat from * around
round 27: *k2, p2, CB4, p2.  repeat from * around
rounds 28 thru 38: *k2, p2, k4, p2.  repeat from * around
round 39: *k2, p2tog, k2tog, k2tog, p2tog.  repeat from * around
round 40: *k2, p1.  repeat from * around
round 41: *k2tog, p1.  repeat from * around
round 42: *k1, p1.  repeat from * around
round 43: *k3tog, p1.  repeat from * around
round 44: *k1, p1.  repeat from * around
round 45: k1, *k2tog.  repeat from * around. k1 last stitch
cut yarn and pull through remaining stitches to close.
